A dog breeder has threatened to sue Denver animal control after 19 puppies were removed from his pickup camper over the weekend.
Dwight Young said he was transporting the puppies for sale and kept them in his pickup truck while he stayed in a motel.
He came out to find a note on his truck from Denver Animal Control.
Someone became concerned when they saw and smelled the puppies inside his pickup. The note from animal control said the puppies were seized because of neglect. The note said that they did not have access to fresh water and were kept in filth.
