Dog Owner Hospitalized After Dog Disappears

Sharon Jacula was so distraught after learning her dog had disappeared from her apartment building yesterday morning she had to be hospitalized.

"The stress was so bad an ambulance had to take her to the University (hospital). I thought she'd suffered a heart attack," said Sharon's husband Basil, live-in landlord at White Oaks apartments at 9710 82 Ave.

Basil, 58, said his 53-year-old wife suffers from severe epilepsy and high blood pressure. He fears the stress of losing the couples' only companion could ruin her health.

Sad. I hope she gets her dog back.
