A 22-year-old Phoenix man is behind bars, facing charges of animal cruelty and drug possession. Glendale police say Eric Ross repeatedly punched his girlfriend’s three-month-old Jack Russell Terrier because it would not stop barking. She took the puppy to the vet but it was too late and the dog died. The girlfriend told workers at the veterinarian's clinic that Ross picked the puppy up by its mouth and punched the puppy repeatedly in the stomach area with a closed fist… he had also beaten up his girlfriend. Her injuries were so severe she had to be taken to the hospital.
If these charges are proven, I want this beast locked up for a LONG time in a hard labor prison… even that is too nice of a punishment for this jerk.
