On October 3, Jonathan Martin was bitten on his face, arms and legs by the two animals. He died the same day from blood loss.
A police investigation concluded that Jonathan was downstairs alone with the dogs, including the female's puppies, when the attack occurred. His parents were upstairs."
How many times do people have to be warned? Don’t leave young kids and dogs unsupervised!
This was especially stupid considering that there were puppies involved. A female dog will be especially protective of her puppies, and is naturally more aggressive during that time, regardless of the breed.
