Mother love trumped puppy love yesterday when a grieving mom forgave her son for tossing her dog out the window to its death — and begged prosecutors to go easy. Allan DeCosta was arraigned yesterday on felony assault and animal cruelty charges for allegedly whacking his mom with a vacuum cleaner and hurling her dog from the fifth floor because he thought it was eating his oatmeal.
