Courthouse Therapy Dog

An Ohio juvenile court judge has come up with a way to help ease the concerns of upset youngsters who come into his chambers.

It's his big, yellow Labrador retriever named Buckeye.

She makes the Delaware County courthouse and the judge a little less intimidating for kids who have to talk about grown-up things such as custody battles or child abuse.

I’m amazed at all the uses of therapy dogs. For many of us, life just isn’t the same without a dog in our lives.
