A popular lake is off limits until health officials can determine what killed at least two dogs.
They suspect a toxic algae bloom is growing on Anderson Lake near Chimacum in Jefferson County.
Daisy is the lucky one. She is expected to make a full recovery after taking a drink from Anderson Lake over the weekend.
"Her legs started shaking and then she just fell over and started having these seizures," said Ann Katsikapes, the dog's owner.
I’ve seen people let their dogs swim in extremely dirty water. You had better consider where you let your dog swim. Not all lakes, streams or ocean beaches are safe.
