Taking Responsibility When A Dog Bites Us

Sometimes we get bitten by our own dogs because of something we chose to do. Here is an athlete, world parallel bars champion Danell Leyva, a sports star, who was bitten on the face when he broke up a fight between 3 American Bulldogs. While some said he should put the dogs to death, he said, no. He took responsibility for getting in there, and for the consequences.

Many people these days are looking to blame others, including dogs, for the bad things that happen. Maybe some time, the honest and honorable thing to do is to accept the injuries you caused and leave the dogs alone.

Personal responsibility is becoming extinct in America. It is a shame.
