A few years ago, I came up with a proposal for a product that was pitched to the CEO of one of the largest pet related corporations in the world. The idea was that a percentage of the sales of that product would be donated to fund microgrants for small pet rescue organizations around the country.
They (obviously) didn’t go for the idea. I still think it is worthwhile and maybe I will have the opportunity to suggest it to someone else.
My point is: dream big dreams. Sometimes it might look like all the chess pieces are in place to make your move. We need to be thinking out of the box to find new ways of funding animal rescue. What is currently being done isn’t working. If you get that opportunity, give it your best shot.
Plan accordingly.
