A 19-year-old man has appeared in court charged with outraging public decency in connection with the death of a dog.
It follows an incident on 27 October in which a Yorkshire Terrier, Emmie, was found near its home in Huddersfield with a firework tied to its body.
Tests later showed the fatal injuries had been caused in a road accident.
What is with young guys who do this kind of thing to dogs? I knew quite a few mean guys when I was in school. Looking back, some of the stuff they did was absolutely criminal. And the schools and parents looked the other way, and the rest of us just tried to stay out of their wacky way.
