A Wisconsin Dells man was charged with mistreating and causing the death of an animal in Juneau County after he allegedly dragged his roommate's Chow dog behind his truck in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Anthony P. Farrington, 27, Wisconsin Dells, could face up to three years and six months in prison as well as $10,000 in fines if he is convicted of the felony charge filed against him by the Juneau County District Attorney's Office Monday afternoon.
This crime is so obscene, it is hard not to want to toss this guy in jail for a very long time, if convicted. I am also betting that some kind of intoxicating substance was involved. Many domestic violence cases I’ve followed, including animal abuse, involve some kind of alcohol or drug abuse.
