What About Prong And Chain Collars?

Some things in dog training don't make sense to a novice. There are a lot of things like that in life.

That’s simply ridiculous. They were obviously worried about the welfare of there pet. I have been training dogs for years without the use of prong collars, choke chains, and shock collars. Patience is the key to healthy training. The idea is you'd spank a child, why not you’re pet? But I know for sure I wouldn’t put a choke chain on a 4 yr old, So I don’t put it on the dogs. Reassuring the owner, and possibly agreeing to not use those items on there animal would have been the right thing to do, Instead of acting like your too good to take a request. But hey I’m a member of peta, my opinion doesn’t matter.

What to say to people like this?

Another quote from the Kung Fu TV show:

". . . be yourself and never fear thus to be naked to the eyes of others. Yet know that men so often mask themselves that what is simple is rarely understood. The dust of truth swirls and seeks its own cracks of entry and a tree falling in the forest without ears to hear makes no sound. Yet it falls." - Master Po
