"The California Department of Food and Agriculture has 13 dog teams checking for illegally shipped agricultural material" such as illegal fruits and vegetables, insect pests, illegal and endangered animals and plants, snakes, and the location of endangered species.
This is a fantastic use of dogs for good purposes.
