Woman Has Face Transplant After Being Mauled By Dog

“The 38-year-old woman, a divorced mother of two teenage daughters whose name has not been disclosed, was mauled by a Labrador in May, leaving her with severe facial injuries.”

Did you get that? This was a mauling by a Labrador Retriever… not a pit bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Tosa Inu, Dogo Argentino, etc.

This case proves EXACTLY what dog experts have been saying… any dog can be vicious. To ban an entire breed won’t stop dog attacks. I know of a boy that was mauled by a Labrador Retriever in Puyallup, Washington a few years ago. He tripped over the dog at a ball game and the dog attacked him. Another case (this one didn't make the news), a child bent over a sleeping Golden Retriever and blew air in the dog's face, startling the dog. The dog tore this child's face off.

Labs and Goldens are good, sweet, excellent family dogs. So is a pit bull, American Bulldog, American Staffordshire Terrier, Tosa Inu, Dogo Argentino, etc. I’ve trained them all.
