A Dangerous Dog?

I WAS knocked over by a dog as it ran for a ball while on holiday in England. I ended up in hospital for two weeks with head injuries. I have a witness. Can I sue the dog owner?

TO succeed, you have to show the owner could and should have foreseen the accident. You should consult an English lawyer because English law will apply. The Law Society of England and Wales will recommend one.

Many cities would consider such a dog a "dangerous" dog... and the dog would be at risk of being put to death if it happened twice. Such a case happened in Seattle a few years ago with a Great Dane. The dog was just being playful... and ended up on Death Row.

This is why we have to fight for fair dog laws. Such a dog doesn't deserve death.
