It's A Crime

A pricey puppy has been stolen from a Hooksett (New Hampshire) pet store.

Police say someone snatched the 13-hundred-dollar Pomeranian from the Family Pet store sometime yesterday afternoon.

I don’t know what’s worse, selling puppies through pet stores, or stealing a puppy from a pet store. Both are crimes, just in different ways. It is a crime to take something from someone else. You should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But, it is also a sort of “crime” to sell dogs at pet stores (and what idiot pays $1,300 for a dog from a pet store, when you could get a terrific dog of the same breed from a reputable breeder?). These pups aren’t properly raised or bred, and that causes innumerable problems for the dogs, their owners, and the public for years to come.
