Close Our Borders!

Have you been following the latest news about criminal gangs on the US / Mexico border?

Check these two stories out:

U.S. Border Patrol agents were backed down this week by armed men, dressed in what appeared to be Mexican military uniforms and carrying military weapons, who seized a captured dump truck filled with marijuana from the U.S. agents and dragged it across the border into Mexico with a bulldozer.

Welcome to the Wild West 2005, where modern-day cowboys still guard their land from interlopers - but using AK47s and four-wheel drives instead of Winchester rifles and horses.

Mexico is a mess. It is corrupt and it is a national security threat to this country. The criminal elements there are not only sending illicit drugs and illegal immigrants to our country. “Law officers on both sides of the borders are on edge as Mexico is named as the preferred al-Qaida route to launch a WMD attack on the American homeland.

Isn’t it odd that we ban dogs from our National Parks, but we are allowing Mexican gangs to operate illegal drug operations there? In a recent story this week, we find out: “Authorities report illegal marijuana farms run by Mexican drug cartels and protected by booby traps and guards carrying AK-47s in national parks such as Yosemite and Sequoia-Kings Canyon.” What is worse, a leashed dog on a trail, or a full blown drug growing operation? The eco-wackos have done it to us again. They swat at legal dog ownership in natural environments (did you know the American Indians had dogs in the same parks they now ban dogs from?), and ignore the bigger problems of illegal immigration and terrorism because they hate President George Bush. Liberalism really IS a mental disorder.

These Mexican criminal gangs are also a big part of the dog fighting syndicates that operate here in the US.

The dog fighting blood sport harms all of us. It creates the impression, in the eyes of novices, that pit bull dogs are dangerous and should be banned. But, the root cause of the dangerous pit bull dogs we are seeing is a result of the pit fighting trade. These criminals take perfectly good dogs and make vicious dogs out of them, through purposeful abuse, pathological training, drugs, hardship and deprivation. If we can go after the criminals, we can greatly reduce the number of vicious dog attacks by the pit bull breeds.

One key strategy all dog lovers should advocate is the sealing of the borders of all countries to illegal immigrants. Then, the crime problems can be contained. So long as we can have international crime cartels, freely trading their illegal wares and services across every border, we can never feel safe in our neighborhoods or cities.

It is long past time to get tough on our borders. Open borders give our enemies a back door to murder us by the millions… and they are causing us to euthanize untold numbers of dogs, too.

It has to stop. Now.
