Did Marijuana Cause Dog Attack?

Toxicology tests are being done on the bodies of three pit bulls shot after they mauled two children and four adults to determine if the dogs ingested marijuana found inside their owner's home, authorities said Tuesday.

Pit bull breeds are almost always people-friendly.

However, if you give any dog a drug that removes inhibitions, they can become vicious. I have personal experience with customer's dogs that have become dangerous after being administered tranquilizers by their veterinarians. These normally docile dogs, become dangerous when on tranquilizers. Take them off the drugs, and the dogs become normal again. Marijuana could possibly cause the same effect.
